MidSouthCon March 9-11

One of the best places for up and coming authors to pick up some great tips (in the Memphis Area).  Is the MidSouthCon  March 9-11 – Last year there was over thirty hours of panels discussing everything from I have a great Idea where do I start to Hey I’m a publisher what do you have for me.

This is a great place to meet other writers – authors – editors – publishers.  This year they have a new guest speaker:  This guy specializes in short stories and riding his motorcycle.

Please stop by and say hi.   I’ll be there with some of the collections that include my stories.

I haven’t yet figured out what panels I’m on, but I promise you I’ll screw them up somehow.  Stop by and say hi!

Writing not Hibernating

Yes Hibernating sounds good but no I’ve been writing.  I’ve started a short story (scary story) about a home town legend.  I have also started my first novel.  It centers on the Memphis Police Department.  The research I have been doing has been terrific.   Chatting with cops is a lot of fun.  Usually all they seem to want to talk about is if I know how fast I was going.  I thought they have radars to tell things like that.

Anyway: Banging on the key board,  Talking with Police, and Oh Yea…   I have been pointed to a few writing conventions and comic cons this summer.  If you have a favorite, please send it my way.  I’m trying to work my ways onto some panels to meet some of my future readers.

so Hit me  up what are you favorite Writers Conventions, Book Fairs, Comic-cons.  Maybe I’ll see you there

The Shadow Over Deathleham

To encourage everyone to participate in my tradition of awaiting to the last minute before Christmas shopping, I’d like to offer you this suggestion. The Anthology of Christmas HORROR Stories: The Shadow Over Deathleham is now available in eBook & Paper on amazon.

This anthology includes the story of Christmas Lasagna, by yours truly. As a bonus this Anthology also includes my poem Left in a Manger, my FIRST poem released to the world. So, now I’m an author and a poet, I’ll never be able to find a hat to fit over my swelled head again.

Anyway the best thing about this gift is you don’t have to drive anywhere. I’m adding the links below.

This anthology was created to support a Pediatric AIDS foundation.  That’s correct, this purchase goes to help children.  Now get to Amazon.

Have Frightful Christmas Everyone
